ABOUT

The Dr. Why Blog is a collection of anonymized personal letters from myself to my patients written over many years. It was started on a suggestion of one of my patients, who once expressed the idea that our question and answer emails should be published.

The blog covers a wide range of health, wellness, and medical issues based on real-life questions I receive almost daily. I speak from more than 40 years of professional experience.

I put everything into perspective of the current scientific facts. I cut out scientific jargon and do not include literature references in order to deliver information in plain English. I preserve original spelling and punctuation, when appropriate.

The focus is on disease prevention, screening, and early diagnosis. I also address issues of serious and dread diseases as they come up.

My mission is to arm you with the knowledge and understanding that can help navigating medical world with confidence while dispelling myths, highlighting errors in both doctor and patient judgement, common biases, and exposing frank charlatans.
