In response to my own blog from yesterday Bill the Prophet? I would like to propose a less mystical explanation: Mr. Gates is well informed!
The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation web site states as its first priority is “… to reduce the burden of infectious disease and the leading causes of child mortality in developing countries... We invest heavily in vaccines to prevent infectious diseases…”
The Foundation dates back to 1997. Undoubtedly, Mr. Gates receives regular briefings from the top scientists and virologists in particular. The talk in question was likely scripted and illustrated by expects and Mr. Gates, being a very intelligent man, had no trouble delivering the message he is so familiar with.
These simple facts shall disavow multiple conspiracy theories and rumors: he is neither a prophet, no bioterrorist, Bill is Informed!
