Q: I watched the report by Jordan Belford a.k.a. @wolfofwallstreet who states that 500,000 people died in China (from COVID-19). What do you think? Does this change things?
A: I think this is ‘fake news”. China’s population is 1.435 billion (as of November 2019). China’s death rate is 7,402 per 1,000 people per year. Let’s do a simple calculation:
1,435,000,000 : 1,000 = 1,435,000 thousand population
1,435,000 x 7.405 = 10,621,870 deaths per year
10,621,870 : 365 days = 29,101 deaths per day
29,101 x 30 days = 873,030 deaths per month
Let’s assume, for a minute, the guy is correct:
500,000 : 3 months = 166,000 excess deaths per month (assuming that these 500,000 deaths occurred over the last 3 months)
China officially reported 3,339 deaths from COVID-19 to date = 1,113 per month
Now, because most deaths occurred in January and February - 2,788 deaths in two months or 83% of total, that means
500,000 x 0.83 = 415,000 excess deaths in January and February
Do you think it is possible to hide excess of 207,500 deaths per month? I do not think so, even in China… That is too much to hide or, more correctly, impossible to hide!
I think we would already see satellite images or smart phone photographs of 500,000 fresh graves or multiple mass graves, plus endless trucks needed to transport them, coffins, body bags, etc.
These would be all over the news and those who blame China would not be shy demonstrating evidence. Did you see or hear anything? I did not…
